The Wild Rumpus 2011 Halloween Parade and Spectacle Brigades
The WILD RUMPUS welcomes participants in organized "Brigades", that show team spirit and group creativity... past years brigades have included:
ZOMBIES Though there is no "official" Zombie Brigade organized at this time, there will certainly be a multitude of Zombies present for the Rumpus. Feel free to group with other Zombies and Rump as a brigade together! (Ed note: Can Zombies actually be organized? It just seems funny.)
PYTHON PROCESSION (Monty Python that is!) Calling any and all Python-inspired characters! Upper class twits, silly walkers, black knights and spam-vikings. Black robes and complimentary piety planks can be arranged for anyone wishing to join the choir of face-whacking monks.
MOVIE CHARACTER BRIGADE Just what it implies... characters from your favorite motion pictures
DEAD AND FAMOUS BRIGADE "Dead & Famous" brigade, any figure instantly recognizable who is now dead, ghandi, abe lincoln, marilyn monroe, elvis, jesus (cause regardlesss of religion he definitely died)
LEATHER AND LACE Any thing Leather from pants to skirts and if they are short that much better, or anything with lace.

JOIN UP! Sign on to one of the existing Brigades outlined below OR form your own with 3 or more friends or friendly strangers. The Wild Rumpus Parade will be regimented into groupings called Squadrons, Divisions or Brigades, etc. Each Brigade has a leader who'll serve as organizer and primary instigator, in charge -to a resonable degree- of the group. Brigades should be generally consistent in costume theme and action, and carry a Banner or Placard emblazoned with Brigade name and logo, etc. Below are the confirmed Brigades and respective leaders for 2009. These folks are prepared to include you or other paraders... contact is suggested, but not necessary... we would like to know you're coming though, so contact if possible:
