The Wild Rumpus
2009 Halloween Parade and Spectacle directions
The Wild Rumpus will begin at the parking lot on the corner of Pulaski St. and Clayton St. (next to Caledonia Lounge, Agora, behind the 40 Watt Club) on the western edge of downtown Athens, GA. Gathering and Organizing will occur at 10:00pm. The Rumpus will begin at 10:30, marching on sidewalks though downtown Athens for 41 minutes, making one to three circles in the downtown area.
The parade will occasionally halt, if necessary, in safe areas so that Brigades may display music, dance or other performances as requested and approved.
Target end time is 11:11pm. The ending destination is Tasty World on the corner of Broad St. and Jackson St. Tasty World is hosting a giant Halloween Party for the parade people and all are invited to attend. Paraders will receive a special discount at Tasty World for the Halloween Party there. It is open to the public.

DIRECTIONS:
START: Parking Lot at Clayton St. and Pulaski St. Parking available there on a 1st come- 1st serve basis. There is a fee to park here, it is NOT collected by the Rumpus.
ONWARD Through the 40 Watt parking lot, heading east up Washington St.
RIGHT on N Hull St, one block
LEFT on Clayton St, 2 blocks
RIGHT on College Ave, circling entire block with RIGHT on Broad St. and RIGHT on Lumpkin St. following 2 blocks then
RIGHT on Washington St, one block
RIGHT on College Ave., one block
LEFT on Clayton St, 2 blocks
RIGHT on N Thomas St. then
RIGHT on Broad St, one block then
RIGHT on Jackson, LEFT on Clayton and LEFT down College Ave again to a LEFT on Broad.
One block then cross Broad St. to Tasty World.
